Regi's Day

Regi's day to day with all his family and friends gathering to say their last goodbyes. You'll have to get used to me calling Richard Reg as I always did. It was something I have always done and when Reg called me he always used to say "..its Reg here". He was probably humouring me as normal!

For those of us who knew him well this will probably be one of a hundred times he said goodbye whilst disappearing round the world on one of his adventures. Reg enjoyed travelling and was always happiest sleeping rough on a beach or in the back of a truck or wherever he could and I reckon he would of continued had he had the chance.

Over the coming months I hope his friends will get a chance to put their thoughts and memories up on Regi's site along with photos of him doing what he did best and taking up the slack for me who stayed firmly rooted at home. It'll be hard but worth it in the long run remembering what a top bloke he was.

I think its important we remember Richard before MS and it'll keep us and him happy.

An Idea

Just had a thought about posting. Perhaps everyone who posts on Regi's site for the first time can post a picture of themselves on their own or with Rich!? That way we all get to know you. Its only an idea but I reckon a good one. Here we go....brace yourselves!

Adios Amigo!

Rich left on his last great adventure today with his family and friends close by. He's back doing what he does best....travelling.

Love ya bro!

My reasons for starting this blog!

I created this blog not to record the battle my brother is fighting against Multiple Sclerosis (MS) but to explore his life through the memories of his friends and family. My own memories of him from our childhood as we grew up to now are only part of his life and perhaps this blog is my attempt to find out more about him through you.

I don't want this blog to be some dark place that people become depressed in whilst reading but a place to celebrate the things he did and achieved in the past that made him the person we all love so much! A record of his life whether it be through stories, jokes or photos, this blog should be a biography about Richard as he was before MS took over his life.
